Born in Paris, works and lives in New York. He has a degree in Film Semiotics and
Linguistics. Professionally he apprenticed to Arnold Newman. Michel's portraits of writers, musicians, artists, actors, film and stage directors have been commissioned by many magazines and advertising clients. Since 2007 he has had solo exhibit of his portrait and fine art works in New York and abroad as well as having participated in a number of group exhibits.
